Marla Beck grew up in Stockbridge, Georgia and graduated from Stockbridge High School. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Special Education, as well as an Educational Specialist’s degree in Special Education Leadership from the University of West Georgia. She is also a Certified 6-12th grade Science Teacher. Marla was a teacher at Pike County High School for 23 years before becoming the Graduation Coach for Zebulon High in November, 2018.
Marla believes in encouraging all students to make education and career goals, and enjoys witnessing the accomplishment a student feels when they recognize they are on the correct path to achieve their goals, whether it is an on-the-job training, Technical School, or College related career path. She believes that once students start to identify their ‘outside of high school’ goals, then finishing their high school education becomes more of a stepping stone to their future.
